2019 Is That You?

Fall is officially here and we will soon be transitioning into sweaters, knitted tops and my favorite, BOOT SEASON! But before we jump into that, I want to share how I’ll planning for the next 90 days of the year! Yep, that’s right. We have exactly 3 months, 92 days, 13 hours, 37 mins and 20 seconds away from the year of 2019!!! Wheewww.. Reading that literally makes me feel like I have not even a second to breathe! But let’s enjoy the moment and be as productive as possible to be sure we end this year with a bang!

Here are three things that I’ll be doing/using to help kick start the last quarter of 2018!

90x Goal Planner Challenge: So technically we have 2 more days until our 90 days start. Even though the new quarter starts today, I’m taking advantage of these next two days to effectively plan out the rest of my year. I received this planner at the CABE Partners event, “Let’s Flamingle” and I’ve been meaning to use it and hold myself accountable throughout this journey. The 90x Planner allows you to set goals daily, weekly, or monthly! So I’m doing myself a favor and setting realistic goals that are best suited for me. But join me on this journey and let’s motivate each other and get through this year together! You can start whenever you receive it and write in your own dates. So ya’ll, there should be no excuses on why we don’t execute these goals! Order yours now at the link below and let’s get started! 2019 is not ready for us!

Self Reflection Sessions: I don’t know about you, but for me, this year has been full of life changes, transitions, adjustments, sacrifices and more! It’s been extremely bitter sweet for me and at times, I don’t know how to feel about it. So within this last quarter, I’m taking the time to self-reflect on how this year made me feel spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally. What could I have done better and what changes can I make to have an even better year for 2019. These are all questions that are so important to ask yourself. We go through changes daily and being able to understand the growth that you’re gaining from these experiences is important. So I’m breaking out a blanket, heading to the top of my hill, bringing a notepad and pen, and writing down all of the things I feel I can improve on. But also giving myself credit on what I was able to accomplish this year.

Holiday Season, is Family Season: Although we had all year to spend time with friends and loved ones, some of us (including myself) get so caught in work, school, and our own personal business to the point where we forget to make those calls to check up on our family. But with the holidays quickly approaching, this gives us a reason to be more connected and in touch with the people we love. However, for me, instead of using the holidays to catch up with my folks, I’m starting early and contacting them now to see how they’re doing. This is a goal of mine because family is everything and they are my world. I don’t want them to hear from me just around the holidays, yet I’m MIA from Jan-Oct. So for these next 90 days, I’m making it a goal to call the people I love who I haven’t spoken to in a very long time. Tomorrow is not promise and I would hate for something to happen before the holidays and I was not able to speak with them.

I want to know your plans! How do you plan on executing the rest of the year? Time flies by so fast and I can’t believe this year is almost over! So we have to be sure we are staying productive, yet enjoying every single moment of it. Comment below and let me know how you plan to kick start the next 90 days of 2018!
